The video effect will display a solid colour … rather than your video based on what is going on …

Red – Indicates there has been some sort of error displaying the video. Run check sequence which will normally tell you why. Most common reasons are the video file was not found, the model is not appropriate, or the buffer was created as a single line which is just a special case of the model is not appropriate for video display. The other possibility is we couldn’t decode your video file … to trouble shoot this we need to see your logs.
Blue – Indicates the video is over and you didn’t ask it to loop.
